NOTICE OF AMENDMENT TO LOCAL LAWS
At the Ordinary Meeting of Council held Thursday 25 July 2024 the Shire of Perenjori Council resolved to make amendments to three (3) local laws being:
- Local Government Property Local Law;
- Thoroughfares and Trading in Thoroughfares and Public Places Local Law;
- Dogs Local Law;
In accordance with s3.12 of the Local Government Act 1995, the purpose and effect of these local laws is to amend and update the Shire of Perenjori Local Government Property Local Law, Thoroughfares and Trading in Public Places Local Law and Dogs Local Law 2005 following their periodic review as required by section 3.16 of the Local Government Act 1995.
Copies of the amended local laws including the explanatory notes may be inspected on the Shire of Perenjori website here: Local Laws or obtained at the Shire’s Administration Office located at 56 Fowler Street, Perenjori WA 6620 between the hours of 8.00 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.
Submissions about a local law can be made until no later than 4.00 pm Friday, 27 September 2024:
- By post addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Perenjori, 56 Fowler Street Perenjori WA 6620 or PO Box 22 Perenjori WA 6620; or
- By email to governance@perenjori.wa.gov.au.
