Meeting the future community and lifestyle vision for our region requires a unique professional with a strong and diverse skillset, preferably with Local Government experience. It is essential that you have senior management experience, an excellent communicator and a people person. You will require sound and balanced project management, strategic management, relationship development, strong negotiating skills and a good business acumen.

The position is offered under a performance based contract up to five years. An attractive remuneration package is offered and is to be set in accordance with the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal Band 4. Salary and benefits are subject to negotiation and could include, but not limited to; base salary, superannuation, professional development and utilities. In addition, private use of a motor vehicle, housing in a Shire owned executive residence is available. Access to the Regional/Isolation Allowance will be resolved following successful completion of the six months qualifying period. Reasonable relocation expenses will be negotiated.
